Mobile veterinary clinics to be launched

Filed under: Uncategorized — Phone user @ 10:04 am

Hey!

Wow! Not only Goggle starts “voice search” in India, but the hot-line veterinary help starts the work! I do think that it is useful for the countryside. Posted for you:

In order to boost milk production and provide medical assistance to milch animals, the Karimnagar District Milk Producers Mutually Aided Cooperative Union has decided to launch the emergency mobile veterinary clinic from this month end.

After receiving a call on the toll-free telephone number, the mobile veterinary clinic from Karimnagar dairy would reach the farmers’ doorsteps and provide medical assistance to milch animals at the cattle shed.

Protect Yourself From Unwanted Spam

Filed under: Uncategorized — Phone user @ 2:25 pm

Hello to all of you!

Receiving unnecessary spam on your cell phone isn’t just a nuisance — it can be expensive, too. But there are many steps you can take to protect yourself, and prevent spammers from finding your wireless phone number.

First, be sure to take advantage of the free National Do Not Call Registry. Registering both your home and mobile phone is easy and free. Once your phone number is entered into the system, you may call and verify that your number has been registered by using the registry’s toll-free number: 1-888-382-1222.

After registering your phone number, telemarketers should not call you. If you continue to receive calls, you can file a complaint on the Do Not Call Web site.

Google launches ‘voice search’

Filed under: Uncategorized — Phone user @ 11:29 am

Hi guys!

Have you ever been in India? And have you known that there is Google Voice Search too? I think that Google stands their ground for the great help.

A year after it launched ‘voice search’ over phone service in the United States, Google launched the facility in Hyderabad. The beta version of the Google Local Information service on a toll free number 1800-41-999-999 was launched on March 31. The facility now is available from 8 a.m. to midnight 24×7.

Presently, Google is providing the local business information and movie show timings only. The Google chaps would give you address and contact numbers of any local business establishment and also the movie show timings.

The best part is the user calling the toll free number has an option to be connected to the local business he is looking for – again for free. The user also has an option of asking the Google to send the information over SMS to his mobile number, if he prefers. But the only irritant is that even the database of Google sometimes can have wrong numbers. When The Hindu tried to get the number of Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad, indeed a number was sent – but a wrong one. However, on a second attempt, correct number was provided.

The SMS facility, would be of immense use to those on the move. Google would not only SMS the telephone numbers but also the complete address.

Abusers, we’ve got your number

Filed under: Uncategorized — Phone user @ 11:52 am

Good day to all!

For today’s day  I  would like to make everyone think about our elders. Have you ever heard about the ones who steal the pension grant? I think that it is an awful thing! You may tell everyone about this number where people can recieve help.

“If you ever think abusing your grandparents or taking their pension grant will help you, you have to think again as they now know the number to dial. The old persons were on Thursday given advice and toll free number to dial to report any kind of abuse in their families and community, at Phakama secondary school, in Lower Crossroads.

0800 00 30 81 is a toll free number that can make you pay for your bad behaviour toward old people.

Old people were also told about 107 which is an emergency number that can help you for emergencies such as ambulance, police and fire fighters.

Winnie Dywili, a Halt Elder Abuse Line (HEAL) co-ordinator said: “There are different ways of abusing old people such as sexually, financially, emotionally, verbally.

They also get abused in their opinions, and sometimes they get beaten up.

Old people have rights like every one else.”
